My favorite - MILDRED PIERCE. Joan Crawford (Mildred) and Ann Blyth (Veda) come for each other like a pair of queens battling for a trophy at a ball. Veda has the forked, venomous tongue of a king cobra and she does not spare her mother one bit in this amazing scene. Now this is witty, funny, sharp writing and acting at it's very, very best. LEARN IT!!!!!
